The Air Company “Qatar Airways” established On Nobember in 1993. They started their operations on January in 1994. And in 1996 they acquired a second-hand Boeing 747SP from the Air company Air Mauritius in 1996.

In 1996 services to Istanbul, Madras, Athens & Tunis were suspended. Whereas Muscat & Calcutta flights also removed from the route network in September & January in 1997. During 1997 flights to London were lunched. During the year the Qatar airways also took two Second-hand 231-seater Airbus A300-600R aircraft from AWAS (Ansett Worldwide Aviation service). The company introduction of a new logo when they entering of two A300s into the fleet. Next time they added the third A300-600R lease on AWAS.
